Event Terms & Conditions
for the Lift Professional Triplex Challenge Event
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for the Lift Professional Triplex Challenge Event, organised and hosted by Lift Professional® (a trading name of Shorts Industries Ltd). By purchasing entry, registering, or attending the event, you agree to these terms.
1. Booking and Payment
Your place is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and you receive an email confirmation.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us at info@shorts-lifts.co.uk.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
2.1 Cancelling Your Booking
You may cancel your booking and receive a full refund if you contact us at least 30 days before the scheduled event date.
After this point, bookings are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by us.
Requests should be sent to info@shorts-lifts.co.uk with your order number and booking details.
2.2 If We Cancel the Event
If the Lift Professional Triplex Challenge Event is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of your entry fee, including any booking fees paid directly to us.
2.3 If We Reschedule the Event
If the event is rescheduled, your booking will be automatically transferred to the new date.
If you cannot attend the revised date, you may request a full refund within 14 days of receiving the reschedule notice.
Refunds are always issued to the original payment method.
3. Transferring Your Booking
Your entry to the Triplex Challenge Event may be transferred to another participant at no charge.
Because this event involves structured activities, safety considerations, and attendee-specific planning, we must be informed of any transfer at least 48 hours before the event. Please provide:
Full name of the new participant
Email address
Company name (if applicable)
Any access, dietary, or participation requirements relevant to the event
We reserve the right to refuse entry if a participant arrives under a name we have not been notified of in advance.
4. Event Attendance Requirements
All participants must:
Bring proof of their booking (email confirmation or ticket)
Follow all safety instructions provided before or during the event
Comply with directions given by Lift Professional staff and event partners
Tell us in advance about any requirements that may affect their participation in activities
We may remove any participant whose behaviour puts others at risk or disrupts the event.
5. Event Format and Changes
The Triplex Challenge Event may include a mix of challenges, demonstrations, workshops, and activities. We may make minor adjustments to the programme, schedule, or content where needed. Any significant changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.
6. Photography and Recording
Photography and video recording may take place throughout the Triplex Challenge Event for marketing, training, and promotional use by Lift Professional.
If you prefer not to be included in photographs or footage, please inform a member of staff when you arrive.
Attendees may not film or record event activities without written permission from Lift Professional.
7. Liability
Lift Professional is not responsible for:
Travel or accommodation costs lost due to event cancellation or rescheduling
Personal property that is lost, damaged, or stolen during the event
Any injury or incident resulting from ignoring safety instructions or attempting activities outside the scope of guidance given
These terms do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
8. Data Protection
We collect and process participant details for event administration, safety, and communication.
Our handling of personal data follows our Privacy Policy, available at www.liftprofessional.co.uk.
